Postgraduate Funding Opportunities

The University of Zululand is keen on ensuring that all their postgraduate students succeed without difficulties and financial challenges. The postgraduate office assists students with any postgraduate bursaries that are available and assists with any challenges that students may face when applying for funding.

NATIONAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION (NRF)

The NRF is South Africa’s major research funding agency providing grants to researchers undertaking research projects as well as scholarships/bursaries to support honours, Master’s and Doctoral students with a research component of at least 50% in institutions of higher education. For queries and additional information on NRF scholarships and fellowships, please contact the Postgraduate Funding Office.
