Research Interest Areas

My research supervision interest areas are non-communicable diseases, sports training, obesity, and martial arts:

Non-communicable Diseases and Exercise: Exploring the impact of exercise and physical activity on preventing and managing non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and obesity.

Sports Training and Performance: Investigating optimal training methods, performance enhancement strategies, and injury prevention techniques for athletes in various sports disciplines, including boxing, taekwondo, and martial arts.

Obesity and Lifestyle Interventions: Examining the factors contributing to obesity and developing effective lifestyle interventions, including exercise and nutrition programs, for weight management and obesity prevention.

Martial Arts and Health Outcomes: Investigating the health benefits and physiological effects of martial arts training, including the impact on cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Exercise Prescription for Chronic Conditions: Studying the design and implementation of exercise programs tailored to individuals with chronic diseases, including non-communicable diseases, to improve health outcomes, quality of life, and disease management.

Physical Activity Promotion and Behavior Change: Exploring strategies to promote physical activity and behavior change among different populations, including individuals at risk of non-communicable diseases, and examining the effectiveness of interventions in improving long-term adherence.
